  • FMEA workshop launched by Ingenics is a traditional Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, is a new method that aims to identify potential risks and failures, and analyze their modes, causes and effects. The goal of this method is to find solutions that prevent these failures from occurring.
  • This training course is aligned and deployed by Ingenics certified trainers according to the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) together with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), in order to introduce the new Seven-Step FMEA Process.

Contents

During this two-day workshop, the seven steps approach defined by the AIAG in co-operation with the VDA will be reviewed in detail, in a theoretical and in a practical way:

  • The first three steps of a new approach, planning & preparation, structure analysis, and function analysis, represent the “System Analysis” phase of a PFMEA study.
  • The next three steps correspond to the “failure analysis and risk mitigation” phase and include failure analysis, risk analysis, and optimization.
  • Step 7 “Result Documentation” that concludes the “communication” phase of process FMEA. A report to the management areas.
  • Finally it will be reviewed how to evaluate and measure the efficiency of the implemented analysis.
